2022 Standards and New Accreditation Model

BHCOE ABA Standards and Accreditation Model Offer More Benefits to Providers and Patients

BHCOE has been creating standards and accrediting ABA organizations for seven years. Our new 2022 ABA Standards and accreditation model are built on that experience and informed by more than 100,000 data points that define quality applied behavior analysis services. We’ve identified the ABA practices that deliver quality ABA outcomes and are sharing that knowledge to help improve ABA care.

Providers, patients and families, payors and other ABA advocates have weighed heavily in the development of our new standards and accreditation model. Their feedback has inspired key updates including a streamlined accreditation process, fewer document requirements and more digital guided support. Standards offer clearer language and more emphasis on clinical requirements.

There are lots of ways to learn more about our new standards and accreditation process. We encourage you to read the 2022 Standards press release and leverage the following resources.
