Organization that empowers the Black ABA community joins forces with BHCOE to support industry professionals.
LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (BHCOE) today announced its partnership with the Black Applied Behavior Analysts (BABA), the leading organization aiming to reduce barriers for African American students, professionals, and parents within the ABA community. This partnership aims to achieve our shared vision of promoting diversity within the ABA community and encouraging more African-Americans to pursue a career as a BCBA or leadership role within an ABA organization. BHCOE will offer the following benefits to ABA professionals who leverage this partnership with the goal of elevating black leaders within the ABA field:
- A discount on Accreditation for BABA Member organizations
- BHCOE Accredited organizations will receive 1 Free BABA membership for their staff
- BHCOE will deliver Free CEUs for BABA member organizations through the BHCOE Learning Hub
“I am thrilled to partner with BABA on this important initiative,” said Sara Gershfeld Litvak, BHCOE’s Chief Executive Officer. “We hope this partnership helps promote diversity within the ABA community and bolster black-owned businesses.”
All newly BHCOE-Accredited organizations are eligible to have one employee get one free year of BABA membership at the level that the employee qualifies for.

Tia Glover, Partnership chair for BABA added: “This will allow our community to learn more about the resources BHCOE provides and the many benefits of accreditation. Additionally this will support the growth of African-American BCBAs that have their own ABA practice by obtaining and using accreditation to expand their organization.”
