About Advance Kids – In-Home Services
The Clinic-Based and In-Home programs provide a unique learning environment for children diagnosed with autism, in a one on one ratio supplemented with numerous opportunities for socialization(clinic) and emphasis on parent education and training (In-Home). We provide an ABA program that prepares young children for integration into school, home and community. Service delivery and programming in the In-Home program is based in parent-led intervention and behavioral treatment designed to empower parents and teach young people with autism through play and functional learning opportunities. The clinic based program mirrors the service delivery in a home setting and allows for the incorporation of peer play and the generalization of targeted skills. Parents receive training and consultation through monthly observation and parent training with their behavior consultant. In addition, both programs develop individual lesson plans which may focus on targeting the following skill levels: Functional Communication, Motor Imitation, Vocal Imitation, Visual Performance, School Readiness and Pre-Academic skills, Play and Social Skills, Self-help Skills, Functional Gross and Fine Motor Skills, Routines and Transitions, Generalization of Skills into Daily Living Activities, Behavior Reduction and Intervention Plans.
