Dr. Michael J. Morrier serves on the BHCOE Quality Measurement Provider Panel (QMPP). Dr. Morrier is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. He has worked in the field of ABA since 1988 providing early intervention to young children with ASD and their families. His focus is on how to embed ABA principles and strategies within a child/family’s natural environments including home, school, and community. He became a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) in 2007 and received his BCBA-D designation in 2008. Dr. Morrier has a wide-ranging publication record related to social treatments for children with ASD and their same-aged neurotypical peers; his most recent publication (Increasing Social Interactions of Preschool Children with Autism through Cooperative Outdoor Play) was accepted for publication in an upcoming issue of The Journal of Special Education.
